Fastener installation slots can be cut using a standard biscuit jointer or router. To ease installation pre-grooved decking can be purchased at a variety of timber merchants. After the installation of HardWood CLIP® brand fasteners no screws are visible to detract from your deck's appearance, and the worry of snagging a screw head on your feet is eliminated!

Type - Hardwood Clip Deck Fastener

This fastener is also part of the “Professional” range. The hardWood clip hidden fastener was specially designed and developed for use with wood boards. Regardless of the wood board drying method, the hardWood clip is the fastener of choice in high humidity climates, where boards will expand again after installation.

When using air dried decking the Hardwood Clip® Small  fasteners automatically set the gap spacing at the proper  (3mm) gap between deck boards to allow for contraction and water drainage.

Each hardWood Clip™ installation kit can cover approximately :-
10 m2 of deck (140 mm boards and joists every 45 cm)
7 m2 of deck (90 mm boards and joists every 45 cm)

and contains:

 185 hidden fasteners
 200 SPAX® 4x45 A2 stainless steel screws
 12 Ipe plugs
 1 Torx driver bit
