Seasonite is a treatment for new and pressure treated wood, Cedar, Redwood, Ipe, Balau and other exterior woods and is designed to keep new wood looking new longer; allowing it to weather naturally in its vulnerable first year.
Unlike water repellent products, which make the water 'bead-up' but just sit on the surface and scuff off. Seasonite penetrates, bonding with the fibres of the wood and so stabilising it to protect it from the damaging effects of the sun and rain; thus minimising any splitting, cracking, warping and cupping.
Being breathable it allows excess moisture to gradually escape at the same time preventing any further moisture ingress.
Seasonite maybe used on soft or hardwoods; pressure treated timber Cedar and Redwood.
It is ideal for garden decks, fences, cladding, shakes, shingles and unfinished garden furniture.
